About Us
Covers Unlimited Corp. was founded in 1986 by Lawrence Weinstein, he saw the
value in taking existing furniture and recovering it with new material versus buying
new.
Larry used to walk into offices unannounced and ask to speak with the office
manager. "Give me a chair you are thinking of throwing out and let me reupholster
it...if you don't like it...the job is free....if you do like it...give me some more chairs."
Customers loved his straight shooting and his "green" attitude.
Cary joined his dad in 1989 and he still practices the same philosophies. "Keep the
customer happy, and they will keep coming back."
Kevin, Cary's cousin, joined Covers shortly after Larry passed away. With Kevin on
staff, the custom furniture department started to take shape. Currently our high
quality custom furniture is delivered nationwide for commercial and residential
customers alike.
Ashlie, who also joined us in 2009, is graduate of Harrington College of Design with
B.F.A. in Interior Design. Her design expertise, resourcefulness, and incredible drive
are a great asset to our team. Ashlie seeks to combine functionality, comfort, and
environmental responsibility into her design solutions and providing our clients with
best possible options for their projects.
