Covers Unlimited Corp. was founded in 1986 by Lawrence Weinstein, he saw the
value in taking existing furniture and recovering it with new material versus
buying new.  

Larry used to walk into offices unannounced and ask to speak with the office
manager.  "Give me a chair you are thinking of throwing out and let me
reupholster it...if you don't like it...the job is free....if you do like it...give me
some more chairs."  Customers loved his straight shooting and his green
approach.  

Cary  joined his dad in 1989 and he still practices the same philosophy.  "Keep
the customer happy, and they will keep coming back."

Kevin, Cary's cousin, joined Covers shortly after Larry passed away.  With Kevin
on staff, the custom furniture department started to take shape.   Currently our
high quality custom furniture is delivered nationwide for commercial and
residential customers alike.  

Renovations of any size are always multi-faceted and we pride ourselves on
being the easiest part of the experience.  We believe our shop to be filled with
some of the finest craftsmen in Chicago.  Our office staff needs to match that
level so you get the chance to find out just how good our team is.
