Framework

The framework or "bones" is the foundation of each piece of furniture. At Covers Unlimited, we use the finest, kiln dried, poplar hardwoods for our standard frames. Custom hardwoods, such as oak, are available upon request and are part of the customization process. All of our lumber is sourced from sustainable forrests. We never compromise quality with press board or other inferior materials that will not withstand long term use. We build heirloom quality pieces that can be loved for years and then reinvented with new fabric or finishes for future generations to enjoy.

Support System

The suspension system on your furniture allows you to relax in comfort. We design each piece with you to ensure that you have the exact level of firmness you are looking for.  We can even provide different levels of firmness within a single piece so that each person who uses a Covers Unlimited custom piece will sit in comfort. We use only the best in foams, springs, webbing, Dacrons, down/feathers, cottons, etc to give you the exact look, feel, and support you need.

Design

We have an in-house design department led by our full-time professional designer who will review all the details with you. You will not be sitting alone in your home office trying to make decisions from color blocks on a drop down menu. You will be able to view the fabric, feel the textures and review all design details with our knowledgeable staff. Not only will you choose the covering material, you will have the opportunity to personalize your piece down to the finishing touches, making it a unique piece to fit your space and lifestyle.

Sit Test and Review

Come in while we are building! We want to hear you say, "YES...it's perfect!" If it's not just right, we will make adjustments until you are completely satisfied. We insist that you do a sit test, so that when it is delivered, you know you will love it! Though we do take this extra step in our building process, it does not slow us down. Most projects go from design to install faster than our retail or online competitors.
