Reupholstering is NOT putting new fabric over old. All pieces of old material are removed. Framework is repaired and/or rebuilt, sometimes with changes that make it stronger than the original. All damaged and worn parts of the suspension are replaced or repaired. Exposed wood areas are cleaned and touched up. Modifications can be made to the frame and suspension to achieve the desired look and feel for each piece.  New cushioning, in a variety of materials and combinations, can be selected.  New material is cut, sewn, and applied with precision and care to match patterns and style of the piece.
