UNBELIEVABLE SERVICE. GREAT WORK. Friendly, quick responses, thoughtful, professional, personalized service. They redid a Crate & Barrel floor sample sofa I had purchased 7 years ago (solid frame, great lines, but the cushions + fabric had were exhausted) They had the quickest response time of any place I called or emailed for quotes and the lowest price.I work in the industry and got unbelievably gorgeous fabric worth ten times the sofa and I called about 10 times to chat about ideas I had for applying it (sometimes the toughest customer is the one that knows the most.)They checked the decking, refinished the legs, rebuilt the cushions (he suggested I even come by and do a "sit test" to see if I wanted down in the cushions) and upholstered the piece. At first said I wanted the fabric topstitched because the style originally had been. Kevin put down the phone and walked over to the guy working on the sofa, conferred with him for a while, came back and said they suggested something else. The piece looks gorgeous and two years later its great

Incredible customer service, talented and tasteful design help, and terrific workmanship. Add that together with speed and reasonable prices and you won't find a better place to reupholster your furniture in the entire Chicago area. My rocking chair is a family heirloom, made by my great-great uncle out of black walnut from the family farm for my grandparent's wedding (1919). From the minute I called the business to the time we picked up the chair, Sarah reassured me that they would be very careful with my chair. And they were. She did an wonderful job of finding the perfect fabric and provided me with updates throughout the entire process. I am thrilled with the results! My "revitalized" chair is beautiful! I highly recommend this company and will go back to them again in the future.

This is what I love about Chicago. There's still a little bit of old-world craftsmanship to be found, if you know where to look. Here, in a historic concrete loft, aside rumbling railroad tracks, Kevin and co. toil away--turning neglected furniture into works of art. They returned my tattered easy chairs and ottomans looking like a million bucks, for a rather reasonable price. They even offered to ship one item to me, when there was an understandable fabric mix-up. Stand-up guys running a stand-out business. I'll definitely be back, as our cats have claws, and they know how to use them.

I highly recommend Covers Unlimited - amazing craftsmanship, great prices, timely work and suburb customer service! From the moment that I contacted them, it was a seamless process. We bought a great deal of furniture from a consignment store in the burbs. Covers Unlimited picked it up from the store for me and housed it until the fabrics we ordered arrived to them. They measured each piece and let us know exactly how much fabric we would need for each piece. They kept me updated along the way. In addition to upholstery, they refinished a very large dining room table we bought. The woodwork looks stunning now. All of the work turned out absolutely amazing - beyond even our high expectations. Beautiful. I will use them again hands down and will recommend them to friends and family.

I am 100% pleased with the entire experience we had with Covers Unlimited and Cary. We remodeled our entire home in 2011. Cary was exemplary in his professionalism and expertise. He returned phone calls and emails promptly, took ample time to explain the process and answer all of my questions, and finished the job when promised. In fact when our fabric that was supposed to be delivered in 10 business days became back-ordered, he kept our furniture stored at his warehouse until the fabric arrived and he was gracious and polite throughout the wait. Most importantly our reupholstered and refinished furniture looks great! Covers Unlimited refinished a marble-top desk for us and refinished and reupholstered 8 dining room chairs for us. The upholstery job is outstanding and the chairs are so comfortable! Their wood refinisher, Jamin, is enthusiastic about his work and he really brought out the wood grain on our chairs. Jamin also delivered our furniture and he and the other men were friendly and careful with our belongings. Overall, I would highly recommend using Covers Unlimited and if I ever need to reupholster furniture again I would use them without hesitation.

I have to say I love love this place! Kevin was fantastic, very professional and friendly. I was given a rocker for my nursery and needed it reupholstered, I found covers unlimited on yelp read the great reviews and gave them a call telling them what I was looking for. I took my rocker cushions into Kevin he gave me a quote and directed me to a large ware house of fabrics which was only a few miles down the road. There I found the perfect fabric bought it and took it right back to Kevin the same day. Kevin was honest from the start telling me it would be a few weeks but that he would stay in touch with me through email which he did, letting me know the progress. I absolutely love the finished product it looks fabulous in my nursery! Trust me even it they tell you it might take a while, it is well worth the wait, I know I will be taking more things here in the future!
